WJEC / WVSA High School Sports Coverage
WJEC 106.5 FM & WVSA 1380 AM are your radio home for great local sports coverage. Throughout the year, we make it a priority to bring you the most and highest quality coverage of high school sports from Lamar county and the surrounding area. We air football, boys and girls basketball, baseball and soft ball games for all three local high schools in Lamar county.
All of our high school sports broadcasts, whether on WJEC or WVSA, are also streamed live on our websites. Choose the stream you want to hear and listen live to great high school sports.
We have a great team of play-by-play announcers and color commentators, as well as our outstanding production staff, who are excited to bring you all of the local sports action. College Sports Coverage

WJEC and WVSA also bring you great college sports action from both The University of Alabama and Auburn University, as well as our new college baseball partner, Bevill State Community College. We will be carrying several Bevill Bears baseball games this spring, so be sure to check out sports broadcast schedule for more information!
WJEC serves as the main broadcast station for our college sports, however when both universities are on-the-air, Auburn Tigers sports moves to WVSA and WJEC carries the Crimson Tide broadcasts. Be sure to check you university's sports schedule for the next football or men's basketball game and broadcast time. College football broadcasts begin 3 hours prior to kickoff and basketball begins 30 minutes prior to tip-off.
